Our favourite ways to use the Essential Oil Coat Conditioner
As an intense hot oil treatment
Fill a bucket with warm water and add 50–100ml of Essential Oil Coat Conditioner. Dip a sponge into the mixture and gently squeeze over your horse’s coat after washing or clipping when natural oils may have been reduced. No need to scrape off after — simply allow the treatment to absorb into the coat and skin. This method helps support hydration and enhance natural shine.

For daily coat conditioning (or refilling your pre-mixed bottle)
Pour 50–100ml of Essential Oil Coat Conditioner into a spray bottle and fill the remainder with water. Shake well to combine. Lightly mist your horse’s coat and brush through as part of your regular grooming routine (remember to shake before each use). When diluted and used as directed, this everyday treatment helps maintain coat hydration and a healthy-looking finish without heavy buildup.
Mixed with shampoo for extra hydration
After thoroughly wetting your horse’s coat with water, apply our Natural Horse Shampoo to your Wash Bay Brush or sponge, then add a small dash of Essential Oil Coat Conditioner directly onto the brush or sponge. Scrub the coat as usual, working through the hair, and rinse thoroughly. This combination provides a gentle cleanse while supporting coat condition and shine.
