Will this suit my horse?
Our Original Shampoo Bar is suitable for all coat types and colours however, if you are looking to keep lighter coats looking clean, we recommend using our Purple Toner Shampoo Bars.
How to use
After wetting the area of your horse that you intend to wash, place your Eco-Friendly Shampoo Bar into the hessian bag and rinse under water.
Rub the bar into the coat, mane and/or tail then, rinse with water and hang the shampoo bar up to dry when finished.

How long will one bar last?
This depends on how often you use it and how well you store it. Proper drying and storage will help extend its life.
What sort of coat can I use this on?
Our shampoo bars are suitable for all coat types.
Can I use these on my sensitive horse?
Yes, these are developed for sensitive skin. However, we always recommend doing a patch test before use.
Do these contain artificial fragrances?
No, our shampoo bars are naturally scented using essential oils.
How do I store it?
Each bar includes a hessian bag with a rope for hanging. After washing your horse, store it in a dry, well-ventilated place out of the weather to keep it in the best condition.
Can I use it on manes and tails?
Yes! Simply lather it up and use your fingers to work the product through the mane and tail.
Does it remove stains?
Yes, it’s effective on everyday stains. For tough stains or brightening light-coloured coats, we recommend the purple shampoo bar as a natural toner.
Is it travel-friendly?
Yes! Solid shampoo means no risk of spills and it’s compact size makes it perfect for travel or competition days.
What’s the difference between the liquid shampoo and the shampoo bar?
Both are gentle, pH-balanced, and made with natural ingredients - making them suitable for all coat types and sensitive skin.
Our Natural Horse Shampoo is a liquid formula packaged in a recycled plastic bottle whereas our Eco-Friendly Shampoo Bar is a solid, plastic-free alternative. We recommend choosing the one which will best suit your grooming routine!
My bar went soft after use, how can I prevent this?
If your bar becomes soft after use, simply press it back into shape and leave it to dry completely. To prevent softening, always hang or store it somewhere dry between uses.
Can I reuse the hessian bag?
Yes, the hessian bag is reusable. Simply rinse and hang it to dry between uses.

I am completely blown away by this eco-friendly shampoo bar with purple toner! First of all, it smells amazing… really natural and pleasant without being overpowering, which I love because it’s important for horses to stay comfortable and not overwhelmed by strong scents.
I have a grey horse, and anyone with one knows they love to find the dirtiest spots to roll in, leaving impossible yellow or grass stains. This shampoo makes those stains disappear effortlessly, and the purple toner leaves the mane and tail with a beautiful silver shimmer, not too flashy, just naturally white, clean, and stunning.
I also love how practical it is for tournaments or quick touch-ups. In autumn, when I can’t wash the whole horse, I just wet the bar, apply it to the spot with a sponge, let it sit for a moment, and rinse… the stain is gone, and the coat shines beautifully. It’s honestly a game-changer.
What makes it even better is that it’s eco-friendly and pH-balanced, so I know it’s safe and gentle. There’s no harsh “chemical” feel, just natural ingredients that work incredibly well. The packaging is brilliant too… it comes in a reusable bag that makes it super easy to use and store.

Really easy to use and lots of lather and smells great
This is my new favorite bathing product! It has a nice, light scent, cleans exceptionally well, and doesn’t leave my hands stained for a week after. It is the perfect addition to a bathing kit. The easy grab and go for shows is convenient as well. Telling all my friends about it!

I really like the lather and the way the soap gets my pony looking his best. I like the round shape, but I wish it was a bit larger.
