Hairy Pony is proud to partner with Carbon Neutral’s Plant-a-Tree Program, helping to revegetate and renew the Yarra Yarra Biodiversity Corridor in Western Australia. This project aims to combat deforestation, promote biodiversity of flora and fauna, and mitigate climate change through strategic tree planting efforts.

Our greener future vision

Hairy Pony is dedicated to supporting the Yarra Yarra Biodiversity Corridor Project. For every litre of our Australian Summer Essential Oil Coat Conditioner sold, one Australian native tree or shrub is planted within the Corridor.

The Yarra Yarra Biodiversity Corridor Project is located in Western Australia’s northern Wheatbelt, a region that has experienced extensive land clearing for agriculture. The project aims to create a 200 km long green corridor stretching from inland to the coast, reconnecting remnant vegetation and linking 12 nature reserves across a 50,000 km² area.

Since the project began in 2008, more than 30 million native trees and shrubs have been planted across over 18,000 hectares. In 2023, the project expanded further to nearly 21,000 hectares, continuing its mission to restore and protect this important landscape.
